to close to home

i went and saw It's Complicated today. that movie sums up the way, in my opinion, any guy can and will become if given the opportunity by an insecure and emotional woman. they can say anything to lure a women back to them when truthfully those words carry almost no weight at all. they are empty and deceptive. words that can mean the whole world to a woman can mean absolutely nothing to a man. words that can make a women melt in emotion and cloud common sense and reality from her fragile mind and heart. the feeling that goes down your spine when spoken to in such flattery is like poison to the body and can cause one to lose complete control over all actions and feelings. sinking into flattery can be the best feeling in the world but also the most dangerous. your heart is launched into someone else's control and when you allow that guard down to a man undeserving of that kind of trust- often this sweet and vulnerable heart just gets stamped on. this man doesnt even piece it back together or give it back. this heart is left in ruins on the ground- destroying the poor woman it belonged to, leaving her in a pain that no physical pain compares to. ALL of this- just because of a selfish man- caring for nothing more than his own desires.
